Myrothamnus flabellifolius is a plant species in the genus Myrothamnus found in Southern Africa. It is also called the resurrection plant, by the amazing speed with which apparently dead leaves reappear when the rains come.

"Resurrection plant", 0.5m erect shrublet, paired folded leaves, male & female flowers on different plants in Spring-Summer. In droughts the whole plant dries out, but revives within hours of rain. Sow Spring.
