Multi-Purpose Submersible water pumps are used to circulate your nutrient rich water through your NFT hydroponic or aquaponic system. This pump features a pre-filter with a filter sponge that filters your water as it is circulating and can also oxygenate your water with the included tube.
The pumps are made from high quality ABS plastic for durability and are suitable for use with both water and nutrient rich water in your growing system.

Air stones create tiny bubbles of oxygen in your hydroponic tank when air is forced through the stone. The bubbles make the dissolved oxygen disperse more widely throughout your system. The oxygen bubbles are pushed through the system with an air pump. The stones themselves are submerged in the water or nutrient solution inside your reservoir. The stones themselves do not actually generate oxygen but rather act as a mechanism to disperse the oxygen.

By using an air pump, you can take advantage of the diffusion of air into water. When placed at the bottom of your reservoir and used in conjunction with an airstone, the bubbles produced will increase the dissolved oxygen level of your nutrient reservoir. The bubbles will also keep your reservoir evenly mixed, which is a nice side benefit.

Air tubing is used to connect your air pump to air stones in your hydroponic system. The air tubing is compatible with most pumps and air stones. The air tubing is clear and flexible but it must be noted that the regular air tubing is more rigid than the silicone tubing. Regular air tubing is prone to crimping and flat spots if bent for extended periods of time whereas the silicone air tubing is much more flexible, softer and pliable.
Air tubing is available in regular and silicon and is sold per running meter.

Submersible Water Heaters can be fully immersed in the water. Root zones are a vital component of plant health and the heaters are designed to keep water at the optimum temperature. These heaters are completely submersible and efficient. The submersible heater has an internal thermostat maintaining an optimal temperature of 20 degrees Celsius. These heaters should be placed fairly low in the water so that the thermostat gets an accurate reading on the tank temperature and correctly activates and deactivates the heater.
Submersible heaters are attached with suction cups.

Before removing heater from tank, disconnect from electrical outlet and allow heater to cool in tank for 15 minutes. The heater should NEVER be connected to an electrical outlet while out of the tank. Water level should never be allowed to drop below indicated “water line” inside tube. These actions constitute misuse and may result in overheating damage to heater and environment.
