Description - UC 157 is the most widely planted fresh market asparagus variety in the world. Developed by Frank Takatori and Frank Southers at the University of California at Riverside in 1978, UC 157 is tolerant of Rust (Puccinia asparagi) and highly tolerant of Fusarium (Fusarium oxysporum).

Description - Trimax is a disease resistant variety making it ideal for organic gardeners. This climbing English Cucumber is easy to train up a trellis. The plant can reach heights of 2.5 metres and has a spread of up to 45cm.

Description - This beautiful dark centred variety has 12 to 15cm flowers surrounded by glorious bronze-maroon petals. The branching plants grow 150 to 180cm tall with ten or more buds per plant. These produce exceptional cut flowers with long stems, lasting for several days in a vase. A late bloomer, the dark colour of Red Sun will standout in the garden, adding rich, vibrant colour to your flower beds.

IMPORTANT TO NOTE : These sunflowers are open pollinated and as such variances do occur when flowering so it is not uncommon for a small percentage (no more than 20%) of the flowers to bloom as yellow, burnt orange and different shades of red.

It grows as a perennial, but must be mulched and protected in colder climates.
