Turkish Black Sea Tobacco - Nicotiana Tabaccum - 20 Seeds

The Black Sea Turkish tobaccos are among the best Oriental tobaccos. This variety of tobacco is used as a fine pipe tobacco or as a blend with other varieties like Kentucky Burley in cigarettes. The leaves are rich in essential oils, which are responsible for their own flavour and slow burn, and the neon and combustibility of the tobacco is ideal. The plant leaves are medium sized, thin and wavy, supple and from yellow-brown-reddish colour, slightly darker than other oriental tobaccos. The plants reach 100-150 cm tall. They grow particularly well on poor soils, in mountainous and high slopes. Commercially they are hard to find: Oriental tobaccos are very expensive, as they are harvested by hand.
