The famous "San Pedro Cactus". Native to the mountains of the Andes in Peru, and also Bolivia and Ecuador. Can handle more water and fertiliser than most cacti making it a grey cacti for a beginner. Equally easy to grow potted or outdoors, it is best grown in well drained soil, and when potted it should be "bottom" fed. Quick growing and attractive.
