Moraea is a genus in the Iridaceae family. Most of the 195 species of Moraea are found in sub-Saharan Africa. 123 species are found in the Cape Floral Province of South Africa.

Twisted leaves on this plant that reaches up to 20cm. Stunningly attractive white / yellow blue flowers sometimes flushed with mauve and large yellow nectar guides. Native to arid areas and does well in dry parts. Sow in autumn.
