Heavy yield of bright red very hot 17cm chilli peppers. Has the appearance of a marconi but the spiciness of a cayenne. Fruits can either be consumed fresh, roasted, or dried and used as herb. As it name states Giant Ristra red fruit can be strung together in long bunches and dried and displayed and used throughout the winter months. Sturdy 60cm plants typically do not require staking, but staking is optional if the fruit load is too heavy. Giant Ristra makes a very attractive large container plant also. 30 000 to 70 000 scoville units.
