The Caramel Bhut Jolokia is a natural variant of the red Bhut Jolokia or Ghost pepper. The chilli plants produce peppers that are elongated pendant pods that get up to 10cm in length although average is about 8cm. They ripen from green to a beautiful caramel colour. The heat level is extreme and they are just as hot as the red version. However they have a smoother slightly fruity taste.
