A Basil variety for downy mildew resistance. Eleonora produces a fast-growing crop of flavourful and aromatic plants reaching 20-24 inches tall. The dark green leaves are slightly narrower and more flattened than other traditional Genovese types. Fresh harvests are delicious in pesto's and summer recipes or dried for year-round enjoyment.
