Aloe turkanensis - Rare Aloe - 10 Seeds

Aloe is a genus containing about 400 species of flowering succulent plants. The most common and well known of these is Aloe vera, or "true aloe". The genus is native to Africa, and is common in South Africa's Cape Province, the mountains of tropical Africa, and neighbouring areas such as Madagascar, the Arabian peninsula, and the islands of Africa.

Aloe turkanensis has a sprawling habit. The stem is ascending, becoming decumbent, growing up to 70cm long and branching from the base to form large clumps 2 metres or more across. Each stem is topped by a dense rosette of 14 - 18 spear-shaped leaves that can be up to 70cm long and 9cm wide at the base.
