Geissorhiza Juncea - Indigenous South African Bulb - 5 Seeds
Geissorhiza is a genus of about 80 species of flowering plants in the iris family which originate from South Africa. The genus name is derived from the Greek words geisson, meaning "tile", and rhizon, meaning "root".
Geissorhiza juncea is distributed on sandy flats and slopes in the western Cape. Plants grow to 40 cm high and the small white to pale yellow flowers are in a five to eight flowered spike. Flowering occurs between August and November.
